• Shakugan no Shana Episode 02

  Shakugan no Shana Episode 02: Burning Flame     The second episode continues off with Yuuji talking with the Flame Haze who saved him. The girl says that he is a torch and he will burn out eventually and his existence will disappear. They walk along and then they talk about the "Fuzetsu" in more detail. It is a dimension within a confined space which temporally gets dislocated from the world's flow. After...the girl points out a boy with a small flame left in him. The boy begins to disappear and the boy's friends didn't even notice that he disappeared. Allastor, the pendent which the Flame Haze carries says that a torch will gradually decrease its existence and by the time it disappears the effect on the balance of the world is minimized. He also uses and example to describe what would happen if something just instantly disappeared. "If the bank you're walking on disappeared, you'd fall and receive a shock. However, if we change the ground to ice and gradually melt it, the shock would practically vanish." Therefore no harm will come to the other people around that existence.     Later on the girl gets a couple melon bread to eat and they begin walking along a bridge. Yuuji then approaches the girl and asks who she is. She replies that she is a Flame Haze, one who finds and hunts Guze no Tomogara, Master of the Rinne. The scene then changes to the doll that was in the fight and an unknown character who appears to be the master of the Rinne. In all reality...I think that guy is a messed up villain who plays with dolls.     Next day comes and the Flame Haze tells Yuuji that she would be keeping an eye on him rather than looking for Guze no Tomogara because he is a unique Torch. Then they begin discussing why Yuuji was called a mystes and it is described as a Torch that carries Hougu and other powers made by Guze no Tomogara. Basically, the Hougu is a treasure chest with special powers that moves.     Yuuji goes to school and tries to get Hirai noticed like in the movie but it is left in an uter failure. Yuuji, his friend Ike, and Hirai go to lunch, music store, and arcade, but she only shows little emotion until she runs off on her own. Yuuji goes to look for her and finds her sitting on a set of stairs gazing at the view. Then she begins to disappear and Yuuji realizes that it's pointless to try to get a torch back to normal. All existence of the person is erased and the remainder of the torch will burn out. Yuuji approaches the Flame Haze and asks her name and she says that when different Flame Hazes need to be distinguished they call her "Neitono no Shana", the sword which she carries. • Shakugan no Shana Episode 01

  Episode One: The End of Everything, A Beginning     Now because I never took a look at the main series of Shakugan no Shana and watched the movie first. The movie is based off of the beginning of the main series just shortened, but the main series does give more insight on details to what things are and it makes it more clear for others.     So the first episode starts off when Sakai Yuuji was attacked by the Rinne. He was grabbed by the big baby looking Rinne and then the Flame-Headed Red-Eyed Girl showed up and sliced off the Rinne's arm. Then the episode went to what happened before that, where Sakai Yuuji would just living his normal life going to school and such.     This is where the introduction of a few of the characters begin. First is Sakai Yuuji, the main character who goes to the high school with his friend Ike Hayato. Both were described as honor students by two other characters, Satou and Tanaka. Satou was described as a delinquent in middle school and Tanaka was an athletic jock person until he started hanging out with Satou. Later on, Yuuji goes to class where he is caught by the teacher not paying attention and is asked to read from where they left off. Yuuji was confused and didn't know where they had left off from, until a girl next to him, Hirai, helped him figure out where they were.                                 After school Yuuji goes to a CD store where he meets up with Hirai. Both of them talk for a while then Hirai leaves. This is the part where the Fuzetsu is created and two Rinne appear. One big baby looking one, and one with dozens of heads attached together. They do not realize that Yuuji is unaffected to the Fuzetsu until he makes himself noticeable by screaming out Hirai's name when she is disappearing. Then the baby looking Rinne grabs Yuuji and is about to eat him until the Flame-Haired Red-Eyed girl appears and cuts the Rinne's arm off. The two Rinne and the girl begin to fight it out until the baby looking Rinne is gone. The Flame-Headed girl said that the baby Rinne was only a container and the main body is somewhere else. The girl turns around and then chops the arm off of something or someone. The Flame-Headed girl is then called Arastall, the Flame Haze of the Holy Flames, a tool of hunting, by the person who's arm was chopped off. The Flame Haze was about to destroy the person and then Yuuji stood in the way. The person about to be destroyed then stuck her hand inside Yuuji until the Flame Haze cut Yuuji and the person at the same time. A doll then popped out of the person and then it disappeared.     The Flame Haze then put Yuuji back together and then used some weird light to repair all the damage done to the ground, buildings, and replaced all the people who were eaten with torches. Then the Fuzetsu was dispersed and everything went back to normal except for the torches the Yuuji began seeing everywhere around him including in Hirai. Yuuji then began asking a lot of questions to the Flame Haze and she tells him that he is not human, but an object. She said that all those with the lights inside of them are replacements that got their power of existence eaten by Guze no Tomogara and that they are torches now. She says that if an existence disappears all of a sudden the world's balance collapses, so that is why they place a replacement (torch) as a shock absorber temporarily. Everyone who was eaten or has a light inside of them look as though they don't have a soul now and they are just walking towards nothing with no emotions. • Shakugan no Shana - Movie

  Shakugan no Shana - Movie      Shakugan no Shana is a comedic, supernatural, fantasy type of anime. The story is based around two characters, Sakai Yuuji, a high school student who never thought anything could happen to him, and a girl that calls herself a "Flame Haze" who hunts "Guze no Tomogara", creatures from another world which eat people's existences. These eaten existences are turned into a "Torch", temporary replacements which last until the blue flame inside of them disappears. After the flame is gone, the Torch's existence is erased, no one will remember he/she, and not a trace will remain of them.     In the Shakugan no Shana movie, Sakai Yuuji is living a normal life with his friends and family until suddenly he is engulfed in an unknown energy. This energy was called a "Fuzetsu" a time/space rift which freezes everything except for those who are able unaffected by it. Yuuji is approached by two creatures who begin to devour those around him. Fortunately the creatures did not realize that Yuuji was unaffected by the Fuzetsu until he made himself noticeable. They then called Yuuji a "Mystes", a person born with mysterious powers called a "Hogou". The creatures begin to assault Yuuji until a flame haired - red eyed girl destroys one of the creature's arms. The girl and the creatures begin to fight until the main source of the creatures runs away. The girl then replaces all the eaten existences with torches and uses a few of them to repair all the damage to buildings and surroundings. The Fuzetsu is dispersed and everything is back to normal except for the torches.     Yuuji begins to follow this girl and finds out that he himself is a torch and not a normal human. He then tries to save one of his friends who's existence was eaten during the fight. But when his friend disappeared he realizes that it was pointless and it is not their fault that they disappear. Yuuji approaches the girl who calls herself a "Flame Haze" and asks her her name. She replies that she has no name and to be distinguished from other Flame Hazes she is called by her sword, "Flame Haze of Nietono no Shana" then Yuuji begins to call her Shana. Yuuji starts the next day with going to school and then Shana appears in his class inside his friend's seat. She described herself as barging in on an existence so in other words she took over the existence of that person. After a while in school a Fuzetsu is created and the person behind the attack on Yuuji appears, he called himself Frigane. He said to Yuuji that he would appear again so that Yuuji would not get involved because he was a Mystes with unique power.     Later on, another Flame Haze appears and begins to devour torches at random to call out Frigane. Frigane appears and a brawl begins to happen with Shana and the new Flame Haze against Frigane. The fight ends up in a total disaster and Yuuji is taken away. Frigane said that they would fight again the next night on the tallest point of the city.     That night, Frigane told Yuuji that he had an anti-flame haze weapon called "Trigger Happy", because Flame Haze's use the power of kings, Trigger Happy forces out the power of those kings and because the amount of energy created by the king is so intense the container or the Flame Haze will explode. Then soon after that, Shana and the other flame haze appear, and another fight happens. Frigane shows the real reason why he is making so many torches and that is to devour the entire city's existence. Shana soon after gets shot by the Trigger Happy and when she is thought to be dead, the summon "Flame of Heaven", the king which Shana holds within her appears and destroys Frigane. The reason why Shana did not explode is because she had enough capacity to allow the king to manifest and still have extra space to hold her existence.     Finally, in the end Yuuji is shown lying on the ground about to disappear because the glow of his torch was so weak. Shana tells him that there's nothing she can do. Yuuji then asks his last request and as he is about to disappear, the midnight clock tower is shown. Yuuji then appears to be normal and Shana says that the "Hougu" power inside of him is the power to recover existence used that day at midnight. Rating: 7/10 Phew...that was a load to type out...o well first update of the season.   Hey everyone, yes...it's been half a year since our last post, but we will finally be making our way back up with anime posts. New anime and previous anime will be updated.
