Well, I decided that it was time to use my time for something half useful. Welcome to the first installment of the Rock Blog. This is nothing weekly, nor monthly, its actually a blog that occurs when news occurs...or when the recording studios of the world decide to force artists to release albums. Beyond that, if your interested in writing for the Rock Blog, pm me (Rush Retrospective) or send me an e-mail at RushRetrospective@paradisesgarage.com with your site name, some information about you and a small sample writing piece to see what you got (spelling is not to big of a deal, I can't spell as it is).

Beyond my useless ramblings here is one last plug before we get into what you were all here for. {MC} Radio aka the Shoutcast server is pretty much bone dry. We need some blood into it, and thats a fact. We are looking for listeners, music requests and just general input. Help us out by simply tuning in and posting in the forums under the Shoutcast/{MC} Radio category with your input. We may also be looking for people other than the auto DJ to stream music to the masses (or the 8 slot limitation) which is not restricted to community members (yes, that means you can look cool to your friends and play what you and they want).

Ok, now that I'd done with these plugs, heres what you all have been waiting for!!!

Album Releases (Odds are that these release dates are more accurate than VALVe's Episode 2 release date)

Rush's "Snakes and Arrows" album is due to be released May 1st 2007.

Linkin Park's "Minutes to Midnight" album is due to be released May 15th 2007.

Other Odd's and Ends

A little late notice, but early march, Brad Delp, Lead Singer of the great Boston, died due to suicide. Although suicide is a very horrible way to go out, we will still miss him. Sadly, his death had very little headline news. I did not know about his death untill weeks afterwards. I blame Anna Nicole Smith and her useless headline news. Been months now and shes still being talked about. What a world.

I would love to go to the Rush and Police Concerts. Genesis, maybe. I've seen Phil Collins a few times already.

I hear tell Peter Gabriel is set to release a new album soon... but I'm not sure if its this year or not.
