About Signatures and Avatars

Hello everyone.Our last forum did not have signatures or avatars and I am aware that not everyone knows about signatures and avatars, so I'm here to educate you.

What is an Avatar?
An avatar is the little image that you see directly below a users name.

Where can I get an Avatar?
You can get an avatar just about anywhere, however for those of you who were unprepared for this wonderful feature I have created avatars that you may be interested in. You can download a full avatar pack or go to the photo gallery and choose "Avatars".

How do I upload my Avatar so myself and others can view it?
If you already have an avatar not on our gallery, all you have to do is go to your profile>avatar, and find the image, hit ok and save.

Here is how to get an avatar directly from the gallery:
Scroll through them untill you find one you like, right click the avatar and click "Save As". You can save it anywhere you like, then you can upload it in your profile by selecting it in the window explorer. You don't need it on your computer anymore because it's uploaded to the server.

Where can I get a signature?
Well I didn't make any signatures, but you can create one yourself using a program such as Photoshop or The Gimp, or just use an xfire one or whatever you wish. Please do NOT go to other forums and take other peoples signatures, that includes if you use there name or replace there name, that is STEALING and will not be tolerated.

How do I upload a signature?
Uploading a signature is different from upload an avatar because you must upload it from another already existing site. If you have a signature on your computer that you would like to use, go to imageshack.us or any other image hosting site, and upload the image. Then take one of the links they give you and go to your forum profile. From your profile go to the "Signature and Bio" tab. There, type in .

Are there any rules on images that I should be aware of?
Avatars have a size constraint of 80x80, but if you do attempt to upload an avatar that is not that size, it will automatically resize the image for you.

Please try to keep your signature down to a smaller size. A good size for a signature is anywhere around 375x135 pixels.

For both signatures and avatars, do not post any pornographic material on your signature/avatar or we will be forced to remove it and take proper action.

Keep the image clean of "foul" words.
