content, layout, or adverts that you'd love to destroy it? Well, now you
can. If you head on over to the erkie GitHub page there's a JavaScript bookmarklet you can drag and add to your bookmarks toolbar.
Then just visit any website and click the bookmarklet. An
Asteroids-style ship should appear that you can move around with the
arrow keys. Press space and it will start firing bullets which destroy page content.

(Clickeh)

Note: does not work well on {MC} site cause it has a dark background.

Facebook sues social media site

"The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Facebook has sued a tiny start-up called Teachbook.com over the use of 'book' in its name. The start-up, which has two employees, aims to provide tools for teachers to manage their classrooms and share lesson plans and other resources. 'Effectively they're bombing a mosquito here, and we're not sure why they want to do that,' Teachbook.com co-director Greg Shrader told the Tribune. Facebook said its use of 'book' in its name is 'highly distinctive in the context of online communities and networking websites.' Facebook apparently is alleging that no other online 'network of people' can use the word 'book' in its name without violating its trademark."

to start monetizing game demos. According to industry analyst
Michael Patcher after an EA investor visit, the publisher will start
selling "premium downloadable content" prior to a game's release for
$10-$15 that is essentially a longer-than-usual demo. Patcher said, "I
think that the plan is to release PDLC at $15 that has 3-4 hours of
gameplay, so [it has] a very high perceived value, then [EA will] take
the feedback from the community (press and players) to tweak the
follow-on full game that will be released at a normal packaged price
point." He also made reference to a comment from EA's CEO John
Riccitiello that "the line between packaged product sales and digital
revenues would soon begin to blur."

(Good Luck With That)

A little Heart pumping draumatic action video my friend and brother and i made over Feb Break 2009

Very cool!

these are my thoughts

Like I said before I was planing it being on the Halo 3 map Last Resort.
I wanted almost every if not every gun shot matched up perfectly with the song.

Got a group of 3 guys that have to get in the base and rescue the hostage.
(Like a every hostage situation) :)
After killing many terrorist, we get to the hostage and at that point in the
song it plays "Lets get the hell out of here"
Then they start moving to a safer location and go out the side door into the
open.
At song time 0:41 (The sniper shot) its going to be a sniper vs sniper
situation. I want this scene to be kinda like the beginning of the movie Wanted

So after that they are moving to Camp Froman (A small fort with two levels.)
Now from after the sniper scene, it will start showing enemy targets moving in
on their position (Because it wont take that long for the group of 3 to get to
the lower level of Camp Froman.
Have to get in the reloading the shotgun. (Epicness)
Then right after that you hear some foot steps (Theres a gun on the upper level
of Froman.
So they throw a grenade up top and you hear the grenade hit the ground. Blows
up and kills the guy up top.
Then as he says "Stick together team" he gets shot in the shoulder
from the open door, and of course he says "I'm hit"

Now this is where one of the spots I don't know what path to take.

1) After when he says "I'm hit" here is another shot, then a dying
sound. I'm not sure if I want the guy who got shot in the shoulder to die.

Or

2) He takes cover when he says "I'm hit" and a second teammate looks
out the other door and takes out the terrorist who shot the guy in the
shoulder.

Then after one of those it goes in to shaking camera mode to give it that
action scene feel. It s a huge battle to the beach where the Hornets (Air
vehicle) are waiting for Evac.
When all the shooting is over there are more foot print sounds. So they see the
Hornets now and when the hostage gets aboard, you hear "The hostage has
been rescued."
And it will show the pilot and play "Roger that'

End.

What do you guys think? Any feedback is appreciated

The Eigenharp

I thought this was kind of cool.

Past systems required several seconds to read brain waves, but the new technology requires only 125 milliseconds — or 125 thousandths of a second.

The person in the wheelchair wears a cap that can read brain signals, which are relayed to a brain scan electroencephalograph, or EEG, on the electrically powered wheelchair, and then analyzed in a computer program.

Research into mobility is part of Toyota’s larger strategy to go beyond automobiles in helping people get around in new ways.

The new system allows the person on the wheelchair to turn left or right and go forward, almost instantly, according to researchers.

Coming to a stop still requires more than a thought. The person in the wheelchair must puff up a cheek, which is picked up in a detector worn on the face.

Poor English second language learners!

This is an excerpt written by Richard Lederer describing the crazy rules of the English language! I thought it was worth sharing…..

Let’s face it — English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren’t invented in England or French fries in France. Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren’t sweet, are meat.

We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write but fingers don’t fing, grocers don’t groce and hammers don’t ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn’t the plural of booth beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese… One blouse, 2 blice?

Doesn’t it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend, that you comb through annals of history but not a single annal? If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?

If teachers taught, why didn’t preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? If you wrote a letter, perhaps you bote your tongue?

Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell? Park on driveways and drive on parkways?

How can a “slim chance” and a “fat chance” be the same, while a “wise man” and “wise guy” are opposites? How can overlook and oversee be opposites, while “quite a lot” and “quite a few” are alike? How can the weather be “hot as hell” one day and “cold as hell” another?

Have you noticed that we talk about certain things only when they are absent? Have you ever seen a horseful carriage or a strapful gown? Met a sung hero or experienced requited love? Have you ever run into someone who was combobulated, gruntled, ruly or peccable? And where are all those people who are spring chickens or who would actually hurt a fly?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out and in which an alarm clock goes off by going on.

English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race (which, of course, isn’t a race at all). That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible. And why, when I wind up my watch, I start it, but when I wind up this essay, I end it?

Now I know why I flunked my English. It’s not my fault, the silly language doesn’t quite know whether it’s coming or going.

What's your excuse: Chinchilli Day

(Please visit the site to view this media)

Real Life Gundam

Lets not mess with Japan.
