I think they are calling it a new engine as a marketing strategy. A new engine does not necessarily mean new game mechanics. Anarchy Online is getting a New Graphics Engine. I try to avoid supporting Sony's proprietary hardware anymore. I was a strong Sony supporter for most of my life, but they have lost almost all of my business recently. At least you still have a sense of humor! As people in the community have aged a bunch have moved on to other things. There are still a few of us who hang out and play regularly though. Jump in the Vent once and a while. There should usually be someone in there. Sorry to hear you have had such a bad year.... I hope this one will be better...
