Anyone wishing to be an author, or co-author to this blog, please e-mail me ({MC}Rush Retrospective) at rushretrospective@paradisesgarage.com to get in on this amazing blog. This is the last time this little advertisement will be offered. Coincidentally, this is the LAST season of Scrubs, so don't miss this opportunity.

As a catch up, here is what has been going on throughout season 6:

- Carla gives birth to Isabel, Turk and Carla's baby.
- Elliot goes into private practice

- J.D visits Kim in Tacoma (where she had moved to due to a new job their) for her ultrasound. Kim reveals to J.D that their child was a miscarriage. This causes them to go their separate ways since there is no child keeping them together.
- J.D. Develops a Vasovagal Syncope, which is caused by stress (due to him not being able to get Elliot, him losing his apartment, loss of a child, loss of a girlfriend etc.) which causes him to black out anytime he....well, we won't go into that much detail.
- Turk breaks his arm. Because he cannot get paid leave, he is forced to leave his life as a surgery-jock to a nerdy medical attendant. Because he is now in medical practice, he is forced to redo his residency, causing him to be the bottom of the food chain. When his arm his healed, he finds himself a better doctor as he now knows what causes him to do the surgerys he does.
- Elliot asks Keith to move in with her showing that their strong love for one another actually isn't as strong as they tick each other off with the ways they live and their rules.
- Nurse Laverne gets into a car accident causing her to go into a coma and eventually passes away.
- Keith Proposes to Elliot and they become engaged.
- J.D discovers that after Keith and Elliot become engaged, that he still has feelings for Elliot. To get his mind off of her, Turk takes JD to a surgical convention. There, JD runs into Kim Briggs, who is in fact, still pregnant with his child. He finds himself in a desperate decision of who he really loves, Elliot or Kim.
- J.D learns that his and Kim's child is a boy.
- J.D moves in with Kim and plans for their child as Keith and Elliot plan their wedding. While talking in the on call room they both are panicking and wonder if this is really meant to be. The season ends off with Elliot and J.D in the on call room comforting each other panicking.

Scrubs - Season 7 - Episode 1: My Own Worst Enemy

The episode begins with Elliot talking with Carla where Elliot reveals that she does not want to marry Keith, but just wants to be married in general. The episode then shows Elliot calling off the wedding before the theme songs starts. This shows that the season will be packed full of moments coming to the ultimate question at the end of the season: Will J.D. and Elliot be together? The show then picks back up with Keith being mad with Elliot. Elliot is depressed and wants to work things back out with Keith but Carla advises her to let Keith stay mad at her for a while so things can cool down. As Elliot confronts Keith and tells him that she truly loves him but is not ready for marriage, Keith claims Elliot to be dead to him and for her to get out of the house. As Elliot calls Keith out, they end up making out and sleeping together, making Elliot feel as she is living up to the new name Keith refers to her as. J.D. claims things are going well between him and Kim but Turk informs J.D. that the only reason things are moving well is because the only thing keeping them together is a child and that no matter how they feel toward each other, they have to stay together forever for the sake of the child. J.D. tells Turk that he is wrong and that this is the first thing in his life that he is not self-sabotaging, and that from now on, he will no longer self-sabotage his life. Turk is allowed to have one candy bar every six months due to his diabetes and tries to make the tough decision of which one he will choose. While at the candy machine he decides that he will not choose the candy bar, but will let the candy bar choose him....which he ends up with a Bit-O-Honey and complains about the bits of honey that are now stuck in his teeth. Dr. Cox is trying to find out what is wrong with a patient he, and turk, are strangely attracted to because of his "vibe." They have to act fast because since they cannot find a diagnosis, and that the patients insurance will no longer pay for him at the hospital without a diagnosis, Dr. Kelso wants him thrown out of the hospital. Dr. Cox is desperately trying to find a diagnosis for this patient and with everyones constant complaining, he holds Sacred Heart Hospitals first annual "Who Caresies Award" in which J.D. wins. After the Who Caresies Award, Elliot decides that she no longer wants Keith mad at her and asks him to marry her again. Keith becomes insulted and becomes even more mad at Elliot, so Elliot decides to take Carla's advice in which to let him stay mad for a while. J.D. receives a phone call from Kim in which Kim asks J.D. when hes going to come home because they haven't seen each other in days. J.D. realizes that he really doesn't love Kim. The episode ends with him sitting with Kim and J.D. having a reality check realizing that Turk was correct, that Kim and him will only and is only together because a child is involved, and that he cannot leave her no matter how they feel about each other in sake of the child. The episode closes with J.D. with a worried expression on his face.
