From the people who brought you, Full Metal Alchemist, Eureka Seven, and Wolf Rain, Studio Bones has created an epic anime movie with amazing an amazing story.

(ANN) Hunted by the the Mings from China, young Kotaro and his dog meet a nameless samurai ("Nanashi") who is constantly being haunted by dreams of the past which lead him to seal his sword. Among the Mings is a fiercesome Western fighter named Rarou, who desires only to find a worthy opponent. When both groups clash with a Sengoku-era feudal lord, a proud general, and monks torn between faith and survival, the reason behind the Mings' pursuit tests the bond between Kotaro and Nanashi.

An excellent feudal age anime movie. One of the best anime movies since Princess Mononoke. The animation is superb and the storyline is amazing, it could easily be turned into an anime series no doubt about it, could go on and on about Nanashi's past. It gives a feeling of a fight between life and death, to die or to help evil, the  classical themes of movies and shows. If you are a person who is into good fight scenes and epic sword battles then this is the show for you so here is a few clips showing how epic this really is =D. Oh yeah..that dog of Kotaro's is totally a hyena!! Would love to have a dog like that =P
