Front page update for information on changes occurring in the {MC} community/site and world in general.
Upcoming this Monday (5/28/07), is Memorial Day (for us Americans).
Memorial Day is a time for warm weather, pools opening, barbeques,
picnics and days off school or work. Memorial Day is also for
remembering our soldiers who have lost their lives protecting our
everyday lives, and is usually over looked by our usual weekend
activities. Reguardless if your an American, Canadian, German,
Dutch, Russian or whatever, take some time this weekend from your fun
and enjoyment to give a thought, or a prayer (if you are religious) to
those friends, family or strangers who are fighting, or have fought and
lost a life, for you to be able to do the things you do.
Throughout the {MC} community, many things have come up. I have
released (finally) the_hallway and is available on all {MC} servers.
This map was also released to the public through FPS Banana but
did not make as much of a splash as whack_a_mole and de_dust2_ads did.
Reguardless what other, non-{MC} communities think of the map, this map
is still an addicting, {MC}-Original map. Speaking of maps, the mapping
community is still hot! We have atleast 3 people (Cash, Stab and
Oblivion) who are still mapping and need beta testers to find issues
with their maps. Being a beta tester is not like trying to become an
{MC} member, in fact, its as easy as riding a bike. Go to the forums
and make a post on the "Beta Testers" forum with your game name, steam
ID, and a brief explanation of why you think you would make a great
beta tester and then you may be granted access to the {MC} beta server
as well as some hidden forums reguarding our maps that are behind the
iron curtain.
Attention all
starwars fans! Anyone who has been to the vent server lately may have
heard about a "starwars mod." This is true, a few of us, but mostly me,
have been speculating about making a starwars themed amx plugin for CS.
Before we can even say that there will even be a mod, we need to
develop a team of people who can make this to a possible reality. Im
looking for coders/scripters, modelers and a few other random positions
to be filled before summer starts so we can develop a plan. Anyone

com letting me know who you are, if your interested and what skills you
have that you could give toward this mod , and any previous bits of
work if any.
Secondlife, a game
(depending on who you talk to) that was introduced to us through
ParaDOX within the last week has been a small sensation within the
community. The "game" is based somewhat off of The Sims online but with
a few additions that truely make the "game" what it is, like making
your own creations or whatever your mind can imagine. This "game" is
based on the fact that you can do whatever you like and your not
restricted by a "reality." This "game" is free but to join most of us
you have to be 18 or older. To all you underaged fans, there is a free
version for you as well where you can do exactly as the 18 and older
version, but you cannot even see or talk or associate with us through

in our forums. Also be sure to make your last name "Munro" if you want
to hang out with the {MC} community and look like your one of us. You
will also be able to check out {MC}'s own little crib.
