Front page update for information on changes occurring in the {MC} community/site and world in general.

First off, we the {MC} and [SS] clan members, server admins, and community members would like to give our prayers and comfort to all those who were affected in the recent Virginia Tech and the NASA Johnson Space Center shootings. These senseless acts are very hurtful and affects families, friends and society in general. Anyone in need of comfort in times of struggle and loss like the events in this past week can always seek the {MC} community for help, comfort and above all, friends. Let all visitors who visit this site keep the victims and their families in their thoughts and prayers.

For general site news, we will shortly be updating to a personal copy of Community Server 2007 by Telligent. No serious changes should take place to your browsing on the page, but if any issues occur, please let us know in the forums under the Site Issues forum located by clicking here. Also, I don't know if you guys know about our blogs, but there is a "Blogs" button on your menu bar at the top of the page which displays...well our blogs. Currently, our active blogs include the Anime blog run by {MC}DarkMidoriko and {MC}Doded, the Rock blog run by me, {MC}Rush Retrospective, and the infamous INOX's Reviews by the one and only {MC}INOX. {MC}ParaDOX and I have the News blog and don't forget to follow Scanners antics in Scanners blog. But blogs don't need to only be written by {MC} members. If you have an idea for a good blog, let us know and we can set you up with your very own blog that you can write and update at your own freewill.

Server wise, we have changed the unpopular GunGame server's format. We are now hosting the SuperHero mod. Don't know what SuperHero mod is? Well, in short, you play and gain experience points and as you gain levels after obtaining experience, you can choose SuperHero powers to become one ultimate, web-slinging, lightsaber-wielding, bomb-planting, running at the speed of light machine. For all you need to know about the {MC} SuperHero server, take a look at this thread. If you would like to take a swing...or run at this SuperHero mod, use the left hand server list to connect to this extravagant server.

In other mapping news, my two maps, Whack_A_Mole and De_Dust2_ads, were featured on the Planet Half Life front page April 19th 2007. Nothing overly special, but the simple idea that these maps are getting attention on an all Half Life website shows that all the support from the Beta Testers and especially {MC}ParaDOX can help make a map successful.
