Tier 1 Armor

                                    Tier 1 Armor

Ready to improve your basic Jobe armor, here's what's needed to do just that

Here is a list of NPC's you will speak to throughout the quest

At this point you should already own a set of Jobe armor ready to upgrade to Tier 1, if not see the Jobe Armor Guide on how to obtain a set. Also note that not all the pieces of jobe can be upgraded to Tier 1, some have to wait until Tier 2 and others until Faithful.
The six pieces that are upgradable are the vest, 2 sleeves, gloves, pants & boots

For each piece you need to collect a selection of items, amongst these are some that differ depending on you profession. Both the Visions and the Novictum are listed for the corresponding profession below

Here is a complete list of items required for each piece you wish to upgrade

Items required per a single armor piece:
3 x Visions of the XXX (18 per full set)
1 x Consanguineal Embryo of Annwn'Guinee (6 per full set)
1 x Novictum XXX (6 per full set)
1 x Canister of Pure Liquid Notum (6 per full set)

First on our list to collect are the visions and embryo's, for these we need to visit the catacombs below the temples in either Elysium or Scheol. Elysium will obviously be easier for smaller lower level teams and has a brilliant drop-rate for visions, but Embryo's will only drop from the bosses here and not very often. For Embryo's it is best to head to Scheol, the mobs here are 160+ so take a good team along

The easiest way to reach the catacombs is to enter a redeemed temple, go straight through the first room and up the spiral stairs in the second room. At the top of the stairs head west and enter the spirit room, from here head either right or left and follow the corridor to the end, now drop into the dip to get to the catacombs

Next we need to collect the novictum, one for each piece you wish to upgrade. For these the best place to look is outside of ergo northern lower Scheol, they drop from the various bosses here. The drop rate is very good, but random, so you will most likely have quite a collection of various novictum before you finish

Finally we need to collect one canister of pure liquid notum for each armor part, these need to be QL 50+ and drop from Elysium bosses quite regularly, or for the more adventurous the chimeras in Marble Orchards, Upper Scheol drop them

Once you have all the parts head back to Jobe and speak to your professional in the IPS building. Say that you are looking for the Yellow Glyph, they will ask you to trade three Visions and and Embryo for each Glyph

All that is needed now is to combine the items, start by awakening the yellow glyph with the Canister of Pure Liquid Notum
